BOSS
In 1923, Hugo Boss founded his own clothing company in Metzingen, Germany, where it still operates. In 1924, he started a factory along with two partners. The company produced shirts, jackets, work clothing, sportswear, and raincoats.
Originally all sitting simply under the HUGO BOSS umbrella, in 1993 the collection divided its range into lines HUGO, BALDESSARINI and BOSS as part of their tri-brand strategy.
Six years after the creation of the two sub-labels HUGO and BOSS.
Both brands share the same level of quality, design innovation and sustainability but the biggest difference is the style.
The easiest way to understand the difference is to think that your sophisticated, smart, tailored, business pieces will most liked fall under BOSS. Boss – for strong men charged with the will to win, perseverance, sense of pride. Men who never give up easily on their goals and dreams and courageously walk the path they have chosen.
