In 1895, Daniel Swarovski, an inventor and innovator from Bohemia, moved to Wattens, Austria, with his new invention – a machine for cutting and polishing crystals for jewelry. This marks the beginning of a true revolution in the world of fashion, and the Swarovski brand becomes the world’s leading manufacturer of precision-cut crystals for fashion, jewelry, and more recently, lighting, architecture, and interior design. Today, the company is still family-owned and managed by the 5th generation of the Swarovski family, with 25,000 employees in 120 countries worldwide. The company “VIL Ltd.” is the official representative of Swarovski in Bulgaria and owns 5 boutiques and several multi-brand stores.
